Thanks to all for texts etc during crappy one year mark of hell.

Sorry I forgot about Blog location contest I started.

I declare the winner to be me ... what??? Is that wrong??

Anyway, made it through ... some wobbles obviously but I made it.

Wrote a long letter to my ex husband and then burned it. I can now let him lie in his grave in peace as I have made my peace with him in that letter.

I am going to go sometime this month and get the boys dates of birth tatooed on the inside of my wrists. Your thoughts?

Oh and just for a lighter note ... no doubts on sexual attraction.

Glad to see you back again.

The tattoo idea sounds like a good one, although how do you think you'll react to people asking about them if they're visible all the time? I think I'd find it quite difficult at first, but I also think it's good to remember people, and it gets easier to talk about them with time in my experience.

  Feel like I've started an anti-wrist campaign, here! I didn't mean I wouldn't have them done there; I think tattoos on wrists are very cool. All I meant was that it's bound to make people ask questions, and I think I would find that difficult at first.

    I totally get what you are saying about them being visible ... but there's a part of me that wants to see them, not hide them.
    
    Dunno ... it's a toughie on location as I also need to be career aware too.

      I know what you mean about them being visible - the idea is to remember your loved ones, and in the grand scheme of things, some dates aren't gonna be career breakers, are they? It's not like they're barbed wire or anything.

I might get the tatoo done, but not where it shows, I agree with Scoobydoofus, it will be tough having people asking you about it all the time.

body modification (tattoos)......1,000% yes. my Owner has covered me in them. now with regards to "date" tattoos, again......a resounding "yes". my Owner had my left thigh tattooed with the date 19-may-07; which records Her date of enslaving me by every possible means. the plundering and raping came suddenly thereafter, much to "both" out delight.

other than my "date" of Ownership tattoo, the very next significant tattoo my Owner had me marked with is Her tattoo of Ownership on my left wrist for the world to see. it is Her initial "V" with side scroll art work and the words repeated twice "property of" that joins up to Her commandingly large "V" in the center of my wrist.

You are proud of Your children, as is my Owner of Her Ownership of me. rejoice out loud for all others to share in Your marvelous display of happiness.

Hugs it must have been one hell of a year It is lovely to see you back online though. as for the tattoos I think it is a good idea but I think that the wrists may be a bit too glaring like scooby and queenemab say it might prompt a numer of questions that you might not want to answer all the time yknow?

  Thing is though it's not like I am going to go full length story about the dates and what they are to everyone who asks am I? I can always do what I do when people ask me about the chinese lettering for 'Forgive' that is on the inside of my lower left arm ... I just smile and say a special time. They then usually smile and nod as if they understand (who cares what conclusion they have drawn ... if/when they become worthy of telling then they will understand why I didn't do full story initially. Right?

    thats very true a good point. I think it is a good idea in that case. Like you said they dont have to know it means something to you and thats all that matters I was going to say that you wouldnt want to keep being reminded but that is a stupid thing to say a tattoo would be a reminder if him and the wonderful times you had even if someone asked about the date then it would remind you even more if that makes sense? god Im not very good at explaining things am I? But I say go for it. It would be a lovely tribute to a lovely soul.

I personally don't like tatoos, but if I were to do any, it would be in any visible place.
What's the point if it's hidden?

The Ivy one sounds really good, where ever you have them done is not the point, the point is that it is something you want to do, it is your way of coming to terms, and therefore is right for you.

A friend of mine lost her son at age 4 to leukaemia, and after the birth of her third child she got a tattoo done of hearts, their names, and a quote that she had always related to her children after the birth of her first son. I just tried to find a pic to link you to, but I can't.

If the tattoo is somewhere people can see it, you are going to asked what it means and maybe have to explain it, and causing more pain.

But maybe that is what you want to happen.
