139 hours ....

by Abilene @ 01 Aug. 2008 - 13:05:08

Until ...

I live where no-one knows me.

Where I can walk down the street I live on without people avoiding me on purpose.

Where no-one will pat my arm gently and ask if I am ok.

Yes.

Moving to London may be just what I need.

It may be exactly what you need.

So when are you moving?

I'd say about 138 hours time ;D

*hugs*

Dont forget some of us Londoners always here, if you ever want to meet for a chat and beer :)

Ah, London.

Where no-one will know you.

Where you can walk down the street and everyone will avoid everyone on purpose.

Where you'll get barged in the arm with a hefty briefcase and you won't even draw a glance.

Heaven, eh? :)

At least it is if you're in the right geographical part of London. :)

Walking next to you?

:)

ah london.

Look up your friends (so to speak) some of us are quiet but still very much your friend...

I'm over again in November. Would love to see you and collect some hugs you owe me. I reckon I owe you a bunch too.

Hi,

Good luck with the move.

Not sure why you would want to move there though.

I used to enjoy the anominity of a big city but it gruadually and without me noticing became a lonley place.

I beleive the lack of personal contact and disconnection of cities is at the root of the crime problems they enjoy too.

Having moved from a big city to a small village I have seen both sides.

I miss the good points of a big city though, 24 hour shops, 24 hour food, so much choice, big stores with everything you need in stock..

London is one city I won't do though, not for more than a couple of days.

Enjoy.

Oh! so you are back in this neck of the woods again then?

Some of us in this city know you, so there.
