Tech help needed ... URGENT.

I have this shiny Samsung YP-P2. I bought it because my music was taking too much space on my laptop. It also hold zillions of pictures as well. So thinking I would save a wee bit more space on my laptop I put all my pictures on it too.

Can you see where I am going with this?

I have since realised that I cannot transfer anything off the above named shiny thing to a computer should I want to.

I feel physically sick knowing that all my pictures of Cody are on this shiny thing and if I ever want a new shiny thing I will NOT be able to move the pictures. Even worse - what if it gets stolen, broken or thrown against the wall?

Yes, I know, I know ... I should not have deleted the pics/music off the laptop before chekcing things out ... no letures. Please.

Help.

Hey, the Samsung thingy you have has built in bluetooth. If you buy a cheap bluetooth stick to plug into your computer then you can transfer your pictures to your computer via bluetooth.

I've never used one of those, but does it have a USB cable? In many cases, you just plug it in, go find it in "My Computer" and copy the files you want off it.

      Yep !! Sitting here sorting pictures on my work computer. Tsk. Bad girl.
      
      Is it wrong that I am not sad looking at pictures of him. Big stupid bloody grin on my face actually.
      
      Course ... the drugs (prescribed before y'all start nagging me) might be to blame for that.
      
      So .. when you feel like a houseguest? I am able to control the tears most all the time now so I am not a total nightmire to be around.

        Not wrong at all that you're not sad - relieved and happy to be looking and remembering is normal, whatever normal is. Just make a bloody backup! Copy all the files to your work computer, and then do it again on your home computer, and make copies on CDs and upload them somewhere! Backup backup backup!
        
        And as for your last point, our facilities are booked for the weekend of the 3rd May, and we're away at an important conference from 11th to 15th May, but aside from that, when would madam care to visit?

        Not up to being around new people right now so will not tag along to the important conference.
        
        I was thinking sometime in June actually. Too much stuff to take care of prior to then.
        
        Oh and I am not a Madam, they took my brothel running abilities away from me.

        LOL! Well, any time in June is fine, just let us know. Cheapest flights are with Ryanair, and if you can manage to cram all your stuff into hand luggage you get it even cheaper. You can fly to either Knock or Shannon.
        
        There is a very small airport actually in Galway, but the flights into it are quite pricey and I can't remember the airline that uses it.

I am useless with stuff like this, but what scoobydoofus says sounds right. If that doesn't work then I honestly think AJ is your best bet, I am sure he would know how to do this. Can you contact him?
