I have never met this man.
I have read much of his work and it touches me in ways that can't be described.
I read some more that he personally sent me last night and was physically moved to tears. About what? A description of a night at the opera of all things.
I am telling you this man has power and deserves all recognition he gets.
We shall see if that power extends from his words to his eyes.
Can he draw me in the same in person as he has done with the written word? Can he make me hurt the way my inner being needs?
Possibly.
So I have a feeling Mondays post may be interesting and that's not counting my quick trip up to Birmingham to meet up with some of y'all. No doubt it will be previously acknowledged 'Select Friends Only' so don't panic about reading smut that you don't wish to.
( Oh and I have cancelled one of the planned dates for this weekend out of fairness ).
EDIT: THIS HAS BEEN MOVED FROM ANOTHER BLOG. ALL REPLIES FROM THERE ARE COPIED BELOW.

Exactly.
Racing breath and tummy flips when I think of what he may have the potential to do to me. Hopefully the picture on the dust cover is not of someone else. My bluddy luck and all that.

Actually, no, Nick.
I would never go meet someone new (no matter how much I am drawn to them) late at night after a few drinks.
Even I am safer than that.

To be moved by words alone is a gift very few can achieve, however, if you have read some of his work before, you are already on his knife edge, already captivated by the essence of what he writes.
His description of the opera, if reading his work as a first-timer, may not be as spellbinding even if well written.
I can only hope he lives up to your expectations, and your encounter is a pleasurable one for your "inner sanctum"

You are so correct Jack, I may already be on the knife edge but for me to cry is no small feat. I do not cry, even in moments of extreme pain.
It seems I only cry at death and then it's usually out of anger.
Well only time and time and time will reveal the full extent that this may travel as a quick 'fix' is not the answer for this one that already touches me so.

To cry is only an action caused by reaction.
If extreme pain, whether by words or action, is a pleasure, then to cry is an act of joy and not an act of weakness or submission.
Quick fixes are definitaly not the answer, as all they do is leave you hollow and empty.
Go for it!!!!!
