Well, my dears, I do think I am going to go and curl up on the couch with a book, the remote control, a cup of tea and just enjoy a truely lazy evening. I am going to try and resist taking the laptop with me ( I do curse wireless at times, it makes blogging too easy ).

I am also going to try ( try being the operative word here ) to jot some stuff down on a possible thingy I may or may not be considering. Nice and cryptic huh?

Ughhhh I feel like a beached whale right now but damn it was worth it.

Ok, today is my moms 61st birthday and I am taking tomorrow off work to take her out for the day. I missed her 60th ( would've been here if I could ) so really want to do something special. One catch though ... she has a thing about spending money. It doesnt matter who is spending the money she is still stuck in some depression era in her head I think!!! So even though I would mortgage my house to make my mom smile I have to treat her without spending too much or I hear "Oh dear, think of what this money could be used for" all friggin day. So far on the agenda I am taking her to she the movie "The Queen" at lunchtime and then obviously a lunch somewhere ... now ... what do I do with the rest of the day? Origionally the plan was to go to London for the day but she thinks thats a wasts of money to travel that far ( erm ... hello it's only up the road!! ). So now what????????? Any ideas?

... is awesome. Just got back from mom's where I ate homemade raspberry trifle. Can life get any better today I ask you?
